Since its founding in 1976, Frontier Co-op has made childcare a central part of its culture by offering subsidized, onsite childcare at our Norway, Iowa headquarters—licensed to care for 112 children daily—and providing additional support like wraparound care with local schools, as well as a reimbursement program for employees who use offsite childcare.
Many employees come to Frontier Co-op because they’re looking for somewhere their work will help make a difference in the world. To support this, Frontier Co-op provides 8 hours of paid time off for employees to volunteer with local non-profit organizations every year.
Frontier Co-op offers a no-strings-attached reimbursement program for employees pursuing formal education, covering up to $5,250 annually for Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees, $10,000 for Master’s degrees, as well as professional development opportunities, including technical and soft skills training and certification programs. In the past two years, Frontier’s reimbursement program has supported more than 20 employees in advancing their education and career.
At Frontier Co-op, we prioritize promoting from within through our GROW development program, which helps employees identify their strengths and interests, fostering meaningful conversations with managers to explore potential career paths and opportunities for advancement.
